SilverLeaf Mount?

Yahoo Message Number: 98131
Greetings,

I have an '06 Inspire 360 with a SilverLeaf VMS 240 CL. that is just sitting on top of the dashboard (picture attached) that is being held in place by some kind of goo, all this is the previous owner's installation. Obviously this a very poor setup not only because of the goo but the location makes it impossible to read from the drivers seat since it is hidden behind the gauge panel.
I spoke with SilverLeaf and was told that CC retrofitted these units on a number of their 06 Inspires. They also said they did not have any kind of mount.
The unit will need to be raised about 8" to be able to be seen from the drivers seat. There is no room in the gauge panel and I don't want to get in to a whole rewire job that would be needed to mount it under the cabinet above the dash..
The only thing I can think of doing is build some kind of a box to sit it on top of but was hoping someone might have a better solution.
Thanks
George

George,

Try Lido Mounts, they make all kinds Dash Mounts for Radios, GPS and Cameras. Not sure what you need but you may find something on their On-Line store that would work for you. Good Luck !

Take care, Chris
