Carefree Door Awining Fuse Location

2004 40' Intrigue w/ Tan CC Serial # 11826

I cannot find the fuse for the Carefree door awning . Checked all the fuse locations and noon are marked awning. Awning for door not working the large awning is working fine.

Mine was dead also, motor shorted out and it was wired into the lights on the DS slide. I have an 06 Inspire so it may be wired different.

I have the Dometic door awning system on my coach and the fuse is located inside the control box just above the passenger seat. If my memory is correct it is a two amp automotive type fuse. You might want to locate the control box for your Carefree and see if the fuse is inside.

My 2005 Inspire has the same set up. I had to replace the motor in the OTD awning severl years ago, Motor was different and needed to replace the end cap that covered the motor.
