Satellite service in the Indio area

Yahoo Message Number: 99198
We will be traveling from our home in the San Francisco Bay Area, leaving about February 8, en route Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, where we intend to be at Peg Leg Monument for an FMCA Freethinkers Chapter gathering on February 12th.

We do not have satellite TV in the RV.  We have Dish at home.  We had Advanced Satellite (in Junction City) do some work for us, and were duly impressed by its competency, but that is for us in the opposite direction to the desert.  Is there any entity in the Indio area that is equally as competent?

Since we know that a lot of temporary South Californians are aware of and have good references to RV service people in the Indio area, I am wondering if somebody would direct me to a good source who can install a Dish receiver and arrange a set-up for an HD Vue-Qube (since I don't want a roof mount...trees, you know, limiting the parking choices).

I appreciate any comments.

Cal from Advanced Sat is here in Indio currently. He just installed a dish on a 5th wheel next to me yesterday. He says he'll be in the area till April.

Hi Ken,

Sherry Fanning here, I noted your satisfaction with Cal's previous satellite work and so thought I'd let you know Cal Thorne is in the Indio area through April. His number is 541-607-8968
