Panasonic CQVA707WEUC

My Panasonic unit will no longer extend or retract. It has been fully functional in that the backup camera and all controls to the audio system are working. I sent the unit to Atlanta Professional Electric for repair and they told me that the parts to repair are no longer available.

Does anyone have a unit that I could buy? Atlanta Electric told me that if I could find a unit that had a working retract, etc. they could put it in my unit to complete the repair. Or, has someone experienced the same problem and already installed something else. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Gordon, mine started making ratcheting noises a few years ago, so I just leave it extended.

I replaced mine with a different system and you are welcome to my old unit. Unit works fine but I think it was the camera that was going bad.
