Fan Controller - Will This Work? 2000 Allure

The new part number I just received is 1090408.  The one currently installed on the coach is 1090409.

Both are 12VDC 1.2A

They both have the same parameters:  P0184204028E

It looks to me that to replace this thing, you have to take down a big long metal plate to get to bolts on the backside of the controller.

Dutch, not sure this is your name, I just looked at your E-Mail Name. Here's the answer to your concern on the Fan Controller.

The entire assembly consisting of the Electronic Controller & Solenoid Valve Controller which was Purchased by Country Coach The Part # that's on the plate is #10900409, but when you purchase just the Electronic Controller which is 99% of the time the part that fails that Part # is #1090408.

The 4 parts you're looking at require either a star bit or square bit, just un-hooked the 6 pin and 2 pin connectors remove the 4 lengthy screws and save them, now put on your new #1090408 with those same screws there are NO NUTS. Clean up the connectors, put some new dialectic grease in the connections. There is no gasket or need to seal the new Electronic Controller to the Solenoid Valve Controller. Your new Electronic Controller is a Potted Seal.
