202 Model Year AC Drain Hoses

Yahoo Message Number: 102163
I asked this question at the conclusion of a different topic discussion but got no response so let me try it again under a model year specific topic.
Does anyone with a 2002 Intrigue (mine is a 36-foot) have drain hoses from their roof ACs? If so, can you describe where the output of these hoses can be found underneath the coach? And can you describe where the input end of these hoses can be found on the roof or within the AC units? Thanks, Steve #11382

Steve, I also have a 36' 2002 Intrigue (with a galley and bedroom slide) and in the process of installing new flooring recently there was evidence of water getting in and soaking the carpet behind the driver chair.  I was concerned perhaps a blocked drain line from the rooftop AC might be involved and so carefully traced the drain tubes up from the driver side wheel wells, but those terminate at collection troughs designed to catch water from the slide outs only and did not extend higher than those troughs.  Pulling the A/C cowling from the roof I was able to determine there are no drain lines from the A/C on my unit... they just drain onto the roof.

Steve,

My former coach was a 36' 2002 Intrigue. I don't believe there were any drain hoses from the roof A/C's. On mine, the condensate always dripped off the roof. It seems to me I had the same question you have and was not able to find any drain hoses.
By the way, my 2002 Intrigue was an excellent coach. I sometimes regret giving it up.

Good Luck,

Steve, the '02s do not have drain lines for the AC, the condensate just runs off the roof.
