Alternator ??

Yahoo Message Number: 102442
I spent the better part of two days in J & J Trucking in Gallup, NM having a new alternator installed. Got as far as Albuquerque and checked into a park, when I came out the coach would not start, had to boost it with the house batteries. It is  Sunday so nothing to do but to wait for tomorrow. There is a Cumins and a freightliner near me. Looked  up reviews and both look pretty ugly. Any suggestions on who to call? I know the reviews are not always a good thing to follow because most happy people don't bother, just the unhappy ones. Would really like someone to take a look at it. Thanks Intrigue 1995 # 10137

Dixie,

The Cummins Albuquerque facility is a Coach Care unit and has authorized Techs to work on motohomes. I have been there twice and satisfied.

Thanks to all of you that took time to let me know about Rocky MT Cummins, been there most of the day and they were so kind. Made room for me even tho they were booked for several days. I am spending the night and will be on my way in the morning. Thanks again, this group is awesome!

thanks for the info! We live in FL and have been looking for someone knowledgeable about TracStar in RV's specifically.  We have used Sats2Go in Houston (Willis) TX a couple of times and I call him the RV Satellite "Guru".  Another great resource if you're in the Houston area. Ask for Dave.  Sats2Go Home Page - Sats2Go Mobile Satellite Sales and Service
