I saw your post on CC Forum regarding your experience with your Motosat. I also have Motosat SL5 with Nomad2 Direct TV HD. Mine is still working as of today. We're in Quartzsite Arizona now. I'm wondering if yours is still working. I'm thinking, much like you, I'd like to let the dust settle before I upgrade or switch to another antenna.

I'm wondering if there is a problem with Direct or just Dish?

I can see an advantage to going to the new RF Mogul controller if for no other reasons than to be with a company who can offer SW Upgrades. Of course, if they are still in business when you need an upgrade.
