Winnebago &CC

Last week I had the opportunity to attend the Tampa RV show. While looking at the Winnebago line-up, I met Ryan Roske, the product manager for Winnebago and Country Coach diesel pushers. We had a lengthy conversation about what I felt the future line-up of Country Coaches should look like. In short, I told him they COULD NOT simply be re branded Winnebagos. I made Ryan aware of this forum and the CC forum on iRV2 where he may communicate with CC owners that are more knowledgeable, experienced--and probably more articulate than myself. Since the show, Ryan has e-mailed me & asked that I share the following:

"Hello, my name is Ryan Roske and I am the Product Manager of the diesel pusher lineup at Winnebago & Country Coach. I have worked for Winnebago for 19 years and am very excited to be part of the team to revive the Country coach brand. I know that CC owners are very passionate about Country Coach, so I'd value your opinions as to what you think makes Country Coach what it is. What is in the DNA of this iconic brand? Please be as specific as possible. I'd like your input on preferred specifications, floorplan ideas, features you'd like to see in the Country Coach products and what you feel can be improved on. Please submit your ideas to ccforum@.... I am in the information gathering phase so I will respond that I received your e-mail and will follow up if I have any questions. Thank you! I look forward to hearing from you."

I think Ryan's attitude and willingness to learn is encouraging for those of us who would like to see the CC brand revived. I would hope that Ryan would share the results of his "information gathering" with us and keep us apprised of Winnebago's plans as they develop.

Thank you Fred.....I just read your post in the IRV2 forum and was going to suggest you do the same on this forum. Fortunately, I checked first and you were a step or two ahead of me. I will be sending an e-mail to Ryan in a day or two when I can put together my thoughts and experiences in, as you say an articulate response.
