Need to replace toilet flange. Need help

Yahoo Message Number: 104895
I need to replace my Traveler toilet flange. One of the flange bolt slots that hold the toilet tight too the floor has broken. I can see how the flange screws down to the floor but I don't know how the flange attaches to the pipe that goes down to the black tank. Screwed on, glued on? Thus the need for advise.
I'm hoping someone, on this CC forum, can help.

Thanks,

Hey there Roy. I ad the.same issue and it was an easy fix. On or 2000 allure the sewer flange and pipe drom straight down into the black tank. I was able to pull out the schedule 40 sewer hose holder and gain acess through the 5 inch hole. The sewer pipe atteches.into the black tank through a.rubber boot and two hose clamps to seal the connection. Lowes had the new flange and pipe. I can take a pic or two if you want. Lowes doesnt carry the.black pipe only white but color doesnt matter. I installed bolts through the floor and put bug washers on underside of floor. I also sealed the flange real well to keep odors fom tank bay from seeping in.

or you can go to hardware store and get the tie down bolts. There is a wood screw on one end and machine threads on the other. less muss and fuss that way and works just as well as the big fix you are in for. FYI
