After two years, a lot of money, and a lot of good advice from a lot of from a lot of CC owners and others,I feel that I am about ready to embark on our first short trip .I have gotten to the point that I can start paying attention to less important things that need attention. The surround sound system is inoperable at this time. It uses a Panasonic.stereo head, but has a huge amplifier down in one of the bays .I took all the tape players etc.from the front overhead when installing flat screens and noticed that the Panasonic STD ---- head had just had the cover laying on it .I lifted the cover off and saw that the transformer part had been removed thus my question..Did they only use this head as a tuner??Could this be the reason for the transformer part is not being there?? I was going to buy a new updated head but now I am not sure. This is on a 1994 BC-400-ED CC Prevost conversion.
