OIL LEAKAGE FROM A/C COMPRESSOR

I have just noticed signs of oil leakage from the front of what I believe to be the compressor for the dash air system.
Since we have found the dash air to be incapable of keeping the drivers area cool, when we encounter hot weather we run the generator and roof airs as we travel. It may not be the most efficient method, but works for us.

Question; If I do not turn on the A/C so the clutch drive is not engaged, will the leakage be stopped if only the front pulley is turning? We are currently in Utah and have had no luck finding a CCoach service. The CAT dealer in Las Vegas said the A/C compressor is not supplied by CAT when the C13 engine is delivered to CountryCoach, so they have no idea where to get front seals for the compressor.
I welcome any advice from the forum members.

I do lots of A/C work here in my shop. Normally the compressor is changed out (typically don't try to repair compressors), along with the expansion valve and the dryer. Next is checking the system for leaks with nitrogen (Fix as needed), then vacuum the system down, then charge. Doesn't matter to me what motor is in the coach, car, truck, etc... A/C is A/C.

Any good shop that has the machine and the knowledge can do this work. The only hard part on a RV is knowing the correct charge. On most cars the charge amount is labeled inside the engine compartment, but that's not the case on most RV's! Best luck is normally on the evaporator box at the dash on from the front hood. I've contacted probably every coach manufacture and gotten the charge amount, even then it's a crap shoot. Bottom line, if it's not cold coming out the vent it's not right!

With the labor to pull the A/C clutch, I believe changing the whole compressor would be comparable in cost.

For what it's worth CC used a lot of Que Air compressors available from world air on their bus conversions. Don't know if that carried over to their motor homes or not. Dave@...

The TM15 was a direct replacement for my situation and cost about $250 with shipping to my home.
