I'm sure many will write, but in our 06 Inspire, at least three years ago with the help of Lyle Weatherholt (really awfully bad job at spelling his last name) who had put the same refrig in his coach, we did it! Well, "we" isn't right. My husband and a dear friend who is also a master carpenter and builder installed it. They put in the same one most have done which is the Samsung 197, stainless steel ---which I'm having a heck of a time getting 3 long streaks off. Anyway, almost every single day, one of us says how grateful we are for this refrig, for how much we can get in it when needing to do so, for how cold everything is, and for even how hard the ice cream is to serve! We are also happy too to not have the worry of the Norcold refrig possibly catching fire. You'll be glad too I'm guessing.

Best to you!

I replaced my Nocold with the newer Samsung RF18 series two years.
Like everyone else, VERY glad we did, no more in-consistant cooling and fire worries.

Replaced the Dometic in my 40 ft 2000 Magna, 1 slide, with the Samsung rf18. Lost two drawers under the Dometic but above my Hurricane heat exchanger. Had Fountain RV in Lakeland, FL, do the work. They added a 3/4" piece of plywood above the heat exhangers and used some blocking down to the floor to help support the plywood. Then a piece of 1/4" steel plate on top of that. I had the Samsung placed as far forward as it would go in the opening so I had more clearance between the right hand door and the doorway opening to the hallway.

Works great. I did find out my boost solenoid wasn;t working when my inverter shut down while I was traveling. I also discovered that my house batteries were not too good and I've since replaced them.
