All 3 AC units cycle off and back on about 5 minutes later

Hi All,

I hope you're staying cool... We're in Portland and its about 98 degrees today. Being a relatively new CC owner, it seems I receive more than I give. Once again, I could use your wisdom or insight. We're plugged in at an RV Park in Fairview, OR with 50 amp service, all of sudden all 3 A/C units shut off and about 3 minutes later they come back on and run for about 10 minutes and do the same again, so I shut off one and we seem to be treading water at about 78 degrees in the coach right now. With only 2 units on, the units seem to run fine. I just checked the panel and it says I have one leg at 105 volts and the other at 119 volts. Thats seems like maybe there's a little load on the park's system...

My questions are, do I have something failing or is it working the way its supposed to in order to protect the equipment with the low voltage? Is there something I can change around to be able to get all 3 A/Cs working? Any thoughts on next steps?

Thank you in advance,
Mike St. John

This is a fairly common occurrence in parks with low voltage. Get your volt meter out and check each leg of the 220 volt receptacle at the Power post or get a competent electrician to do this. You could have bad Breakers at your sight so also check another site to see if it's low as well. If it is low as well, I would suggest you go buy a Hughs Autoformer. Low voltage like this will kill your coach Electronics and air conditioning
