Location of RTI Antenna

Hello All:

I have a 2007 42' Magna Can anyone tell me where he RTI Antenna is located, and how to access it?

Hi John RTI and Tennis are very touchy creatures they can overpower or under power I had to wrap mine in tin foil the antenna and ground the tin foil to reduce the signal. Keep in mind the RTI remotes are designed for a home not a motorhome and there is a lot of interference in a motorhome. I did finally get mine to work really well after playing with it your first thought is that it doesn't receive well enough but it's probably noise hand over modulated my other electronics around you including coaches. Look at your RTI main panel and if it's flashing red it means you've got too much background interference which means you need to cut it back

On my 08 I thought it was behind the panel over the door where the shades are mounted.

Thanks, looked there. The processor is mounted there, but not the antenna.

Thanks Brian....the system has worked fine for years. Just recently, it quit, and the processor is apparently not receiving a signal. I need to determine where the antenna is actually located. I attempted to trace the wires, but they disappear above the ceiling behind the stereo component cabinet.

I seem to remember seeing an antenna in the space behind my 120V breaker panels. Take the 4 screws out of the wooden panel under the breaker panels that holds the thermostat, 12V fuse panel, and the HWH room extension control? Remove the panel and look into the back of the space. The antenna is on the driver side outboard wall. Only problem is I can't remember if it was the RTI or the window blind controller antenna.

they are usually located in the middle of the coach and usually in a hallway behind a panel I have an Allure and it is behind the panel in back of the shower and on the hallway the RTI receiver and antenna is located in that areaand it is behind the panel and back of the shower and on the hallway the RTA receiver and antenna is located in that area they always try to locate the antenna in the center most part of the coach
