routine maintenance

Yahoo Message Number: 108171
Hi Everyone, we're deep onto our trip from California to Niagara Falls then down the east coast to Florida. We're having a great trip but those new England roads aren't for the feint of heart!!

We'll need a routine maintenance soon, with oil change, filter and lube. Does anyone have a recommendation for a cat mechanic in the coastal areas of the Carolinas or Florida?

Thanks!

Any class 3 Cat dealer, or whatever CAT calls them, should be a good choice. go to the CAT website to find the directory.

We had a good experience with the Cat guys a little west of Greensboro NC.

I use Triple T in Wilmington, NC. They are Cat dealers. They have three locations in NC but only the Wilmington shop works on Cat. Gregory Poole in Raleigh is a Cat dealer too. They are closer to I-95 than TTT in Wilmington.

Why not go the Speedco for a routine oil change? Easy in and out and can be found at an interstate exit, like exit 104 on I-95 in Ashland VA

The advantage of using an engine dealer is his ability to scan for fault codes which would indicate potential engine problems. Bob. 06 Intrigue 12047

You can get the codes scanned without paying for the oil change there. They charge for pulling codes. Engine codes will also turn the check engine light on.
