Cellular phone signal booster

We just received our latest electronic enhancement to our RVing lifestyle - a Powertec 800/1900 Dual Band Cellular Signal Booster.

Like many campgrounds we have visited, the campground we are in has very poor cellular service and most of the time we only have 1 bar on the signal strength meter here. Often service here is so poor that we'll go into Extended Service or Roaming mode. Lots of trees here just suck up signal strength and result in frequent lost cellular calls.

We plugged in the new Powertec booster between our Wilson external antenna and our Nokia phone and like magic, we have a strong 4 bar Digital signal. This is fantastic. It takes away the worries of not having cellular service in many remote campgrounds as we travel.

You can check out the Powertec Cellular Signal Boosters at
www.powertec.com.au We've been e-mailing Paul Boyce from Powertec for about a year with questions awaiting their newest 800/1900 Dual Band Booster. It just became available this month. Paul Boyce an excellent technical sales rep who helped me tremendously. If you have any questions, you can reach Paul at paulb@...
Powertec ships boosters in just 3 or 4 days from Australia, and FedEx shipping is included in their price.

If your looking for a way to boost your cellular reach, a Wilson Cellular antenna (www.wilsonelectronics.com) and Powertec booster may just be the ticket.

Bob, thanks for the tip.

I just returned home from a trip to Arizona with a Wilson Antenna in my hot little hands, and was going to look into a booster, splitter, and docking station, with the goal being to boost the signal for both my cell phone and Express Net for those campgrounds where I can't get my Motosat Datastorm signal through the tree cover.
I will check this out.
