Either MCD or Automotion will give you the different privacy levels you're looking for from the inside. Partial with he day time shade, and privacy with the black out. The 'partial' is 95%+ with the day time shade during, well the day time. At night, the partial is probably less then 10%, with inside lights on:)!
But in addition to different levels of privacy, heat gain avoidance, and to some extent heat lossage, are also part of the two inside shades.
They both help at differing levels on trapping heat gain towards the outside of the screens. And the night time privacy does seem to help retain heat over the night time.
That being said, having a window shade covering from the outside, remains the best method of reducing heat gain overall. (And, it also helps a bit on the heat loss overnight.) I was surprised that darker colors, are better then lighter colors, on helping in the reduction of Heat Gain.
Magna Shade is one of the easiest to install, and they're very proud of them pricing wise:)! The snap on shades work well too, and are a bit less expensive, but do require the ladder to install/remove.
Best of luck to you,
