Best way to secure roof

Hi all,

I need someone with experience securing the roof of my RV to the rafter system and make repairs. When I walk on the roof it is lose from the main frame. Also has some of the clear coat missing and various blemishes non-penetrating.

We have what's refered to as a floating roof this allows for heat expansion. Except around the A/C and other areas where attachments are.needed. On our coaches specifically be very carefuel forward of the satellite dish their is less support there on our design.

We have a 4 yr old Mini Max Winegard that stopped working with Dish Network. It does not track going down the road. My point why didn't these two companies notify RVers before they made these changes  They owed it to us and failed us. I would love to hear back from someone in charge of this change from Dish Network and Winegard

Well, not to let the wind out of your sails, but...

Dish and Direct focus on market share. Based on that the whole RV/mobile customer base is very small. Next, the FCC and technology dictates most change. The transmission technology is changing and that in and of itself causes change. And equipment wears out or satellites die of old age and must be replaced.

The Dish makers, Winegard, etc, Do not control what the Satellite companies do, nor do they have much influence due to the small market.

So, simply put, we are such a small part of Dish or Direct market we have no voice. The equipment makers make equipment to serve the transmissions as they are today.

It is what it is.
