Allison 4000 WTEC 3 Troubleshooting Manual TS2973EN

Yahoo Message Number: 109578
Anybody got an electronic copy of the Allison 4000 WTEC 3 Troubleshooting Manual TS2973EN? The "Files" section here has one for the 4th generation controls and I found one of those on the internet too. However, our coach has the older 3rd generation controls. The pin-outs and wire numbers do not match.

Am having an intermittent loss of power to some part of the Allison system. Throws a 35 00 code but nothing else. It's not the battery connections or condition.

TIA

That is usually a result of the hot wire from the batteries to the trans ecu. Check he fuse holder and connections. The fuse holder may be the issue. There 2 wires that are hot all the time, one for the engine ecu and one for the trans ecu. I would check and clean both and be sure they are making good connection.

10-4. An Allison shop found a bad wire crimp in that circuitry on my coach one time. Coach shut down on the road.

Thanks for the responses. Weather has turned sour. Will return to the problem in a couple of days. We have a couple of months before the coach has to move from our spot here just north of Phoenix.
