Water Pressure

Hi all!
I have a 2000 Intrigue...is there a built in water pressure regulator valve on this coach, and if so where? I bought a regulator with a gauge preset at 45 lbs hooked up to outside water. Pressure still seems low throughout coach and thought maybe obstruction on in-line regulator if it exists. Thanks!

In most Country Coach your water inlet is also a regulator which needs to be defeated and use hi flow adjustable regulator. I did that to mine years ago on run a Max of 60 PSI in my coach at all times. The PEC pipe used in our coaches is the same they use in homes and will easily handle 60 PSI

Our 04 Allure, built Sept of 03, has a full house regulator visible in the wet bay via a Velcro access panel. I make a yearly habit of turning it 1 full turn, back and forth in each direction, before returning it to normal position. (Keep deposit from building up. Do the same thing on our home, and also exercise all of the house 1/4 valves for sinks, toilets too. Use them or lose them, especially now with many of the cheeper materials being used:)!).

And yes to the whole house water filter being changed regularly too. I usually get a good 6 months out of ours, but have at times had to replace them early due to hard water and heavy sediments.

We had the same problem with our 07 Allure after several winters in Ajo Arizona. I put 20 gallons of white vinegar in the fresh tank and ran it through the whole system over several days.

Problem solved.

Yes there is a back up flow valve and a pressure regulator on the floor behind the fiber glass panel all the water and video connections plus water faucet are mounted to. TWI 98 Allure and now 2004 Intrigue 11731.

There is an internal regulator, you can find it by the water filter. I removed mine and made a jumper to bypass it. I use an external, cheaper and adjustable.

Thank you for the responses. I used the white vinegar and also bypassed the regulator and am using a new external regulator with gauge...much better water flow.

So, .....is this internal regulator pre water filter or after the water filter.
On my coach I have a door to open that gives me access to remove or replace the water filter.
Not a lot of room to get hands and tools in there to get at things. Is this regulator something
that is easy to ID? I get terrible water pressure in the coach no matter what the pressure
is from the park. Thanks

Youre water inlet connector on your coach is also a low flow regulator. You need to defeat this.

Don,
Besides changing the filter at least once a year, I also have "On the Go" water softener before the water
goes into the coach. I will have to look at the inlet to see what everyone is describing.
No changing that filter is not fun. Thanks goodness that they left the filter wrench for me.
