Yahoo Message Number: 112615
Hello...
I am looking for a Michelin Tire Dealer in Spokane Washington. Picking up my first Country Coach and would like to put on new tires before marking a 1300 mile drive home. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
Thank you....

Don't know what way you are going but if you are heading through Portland Superior Tire Service is a great place plus if your are an FMCA member they do the discount on Michelin tires and no sales tax. I had 6 tires installed there 4 years ago.

Why are you changing the tires? Aged out (6 yrs or more), side wall cracked or low/no tread (this one is real hard to do).

Sincerely

Alex I don't usually get involved with for him but I wanted to let you know I actually had good tread but sidewall cracking went to Michelin store and they actually gave me credits toward my new tires because of the cracking. Certainly worth checking out

Whalen Tire in Spokane is a FMCA Advantage Michelin Dealer.

Haven't used them but they get good reviews.

Join FMCA if you are not already a member and go thru their Advantage program. Saves lots of money.

FYI, Michelin just changed their tire warranty to 7 years from DATE OF PURCHASE, as long as you have records (otherwise, it's from the Date of Manufacturer DOT code).

Also, they now acknowledge sidewall cracking as a warrantable condition. You can find a copy at michelinrvtires.com

Wow! Michelin has decided to finally warrantee sidewall cracking! It's about time. What are the specifics?

Thank you for all of your input.
I will make a few calls and have everything set up before heading to the Pacific Northwest.

Effective July 1 2017, and Michelin grandfathered all tires currently running (versus being effective on purchases after July 1, 2017).
The 7 year warranty for Michelin Tires sold on brand new motorhomes begins on the date the consumer purchases the motorhome, not the DOT (sometimes a new motorhome will have 2 year old tires when sold- this protects consumer from a shortchanged warranty).
