Conditioning Charge on Lifeline Batteries

Yahoo Message Number: 112683
I want to run the conditioning charge on my Lifelines because I haven't done it before and I know the batteries were not fully charged each time this summer for a variety of reasons. I know how to start the equalization on my Xantrex. My question is whether any of you have done this and did you disconnect anything from the 12v supply before you did it? Slightly concerned about over-voltage. Most 12v appliances like fridge are already shut off.

We ran it every 3/4 months, suggest you disconnect any things directly connected to 12V. Also when parked with shore power we connected a desulfatror (sp), batteries tested good after 10 years.

How did you disconnect your 12v appliances? Pull fuses or use battery disconnect?

Pull the plug, on computers and or other items plugged in to any of the 12V outlets (lighter outlets).
