Getting chilly at night

2007 Magna. Plugged into 30a shore power at home. Fully covered parking (but not garaged.)

Since it's getting chilly at night was going to flip the aqua hot onto electric. Then set at least one zone in the coach to heat around 50 degrees.

If I throw the "salesman switch" at the front door will that prevent the thermostat on the wall (and subsequently the heat) from running inside the coach?

On our coach the "salesman switch" powers the thermostat so you won't have heat.

If you're plugged into 30 amps, why would you want to throw the salesman switch?

I'd also suggest a 1500W heater over using the coaches heating system.

Jack - The Salesman Switch usually refers to the switch just inside your door.

Many times while coaches are on lots to be sold, that switch is turned off when leaving the coach, to help preserve battery levels. Then turned on, by the salesman, on the way into the coach to show it.

My AC Power outlets are not working when the shore power is disconnected. It does work when the generator is running.

Please give me your advice.

Is your inverter switch turned on. It will need to be on to convert your D.C. Volts to AC.

Check/Reset your GFI mines in the outlet in the bedroom. Recently had hydralift installed and disconnected battery ground leads prior to welding. If I recall correctly, 110 was working when on generator but not on battery power,. Something had tripped it. Could be remembering wrong, but, if your 110 outlets aren't working reset GFI as it could be as simple as that.
