Annual Service Tamp / Orlando / Sarasota Area

We are going to be in FL the first part of January and have a few open days between spots and I started thinking that we could knock out our annual service somewhere. We toured Lazy Days 3 years ago when we first started looking at coaches (but didn't buy from them). We've been having our service done by Premier in Tucson (Eric) but won't be in the Mesa area this winter. Does the group have recommendations? Service to be done will be Oil, Fluids, Grease, Tire Check, HydroHot (which could be done by a mobile tech). Other than that, everything else is working. Lazy Days seems easy (you can camp there) but their reviews on YELP and others are TERRIBLE, so I'm circumspect. Other options?

Go to Speedco for the service the get a mobile tech for the HydroHot

I have used the Speedco in Brunswick, GA. north the Florida border. I have used them in the past in CA., OR, and TX. Was always happy with service and price.

I use Ring Power CAT in Florida every fall as I return to Florida. I use the Orlando location but they are through out Florida. Don't think they can help with the Hydrohot but everything else they can do.

Hope the Brunswick, Ga Speedco has improved since my fiasco there about three years ago, I asked them to change all filters including the coolant filter, I had stayed overnight in parking area so the coolant would be cold and I asked them not to try and turn the coolant filter housing shutoff valve because they have a tendency to break. Guess what happened! He said the valve handle broke! I reminded him that I had just 5 minutes before told him not to touch that valve handle and he said, "I forgot!"

So, long story short, I told them in no uncertain terms that the repair was on them, took some escalation to higher ups but they did pay for the replacement but wouldn't pay Cummins to do it. Cummins price was over $700! Speedco gave me several gallons of antifreeze so that I could make it to Orlando where they had me take it to a truck service company, also owned by Speedco where the coolant housing was replaced. In the end they stood up to their mistake but their first reaction was, it wasn't our fault, before the young oil changer admitted that I had told him not to touch the valve handle.

They also serviced my generator but said they weren't allowed to change the coolant. The most efficient Speedco I have been to is in Knoxville, Tn. Very professional.

If you are in need of a repair facility that is familiar with Country Coaches, I can recommend fountain RV in Lakeland ( just off I-4 between Orlando and Tampa). They have done a lot of work for me and and in fact our coach is there now. Their phone number is (863) 984- 4251 or (863) 984-9764.
