Fuel Hatch key

Yahoo Message Number: 112995
Somehow I have managed to misplace the fuel key for our 2005 Allure. My recollection is that the key was marked "fuel," and the numbers "A01". Does anyone who has a similar vintage coach have a key that is marked that way. If so, please let me know and I can make arrangements to get a copy. We are obviously desperate since we cannot add fuel to the coach. The duplicate set of keys which I received when I purchased the coach does not have the fuel key. Thanks

Steve:

Wanted to let you know that I did look in my stock of keys and I do not the A01 key that you need.

My Fuel key is marked AH01. If you can't find a source, I expect I could get a couple copies made and mail them to you.

I have an 2005, Allure, HRABD "Hood River" SN31119 and will check my key when I get home. That being said, these are very easy locks to pick. Any locksmith (or you) should be able to pick it open immediately for fuel. Then when you have time you can replace the lock with two (one for each side) new locks with new matching master keys. Not that expensive if you use a locksmith, not so with CC. Easier than searching for a matching key, having it duplicated, and then sent to you.

I will look at mine key, worse case a locksmith can make you a new key or drill it out and install a new lockset.

I have a 2006 Intrigue and my fuel doors use the same key as the bay doors.
