Television problems

Next Problem.....

Looking for suggestions before going to repair person.

First.... TV works fine if the input is through a HDMI cable aka ROKU or PS3.

All other forms or inputs to the TV only give me a snowy picture if at all. Cable in from the park, no good. OTA no good.
Have check with adjacent RV'ers and they get good to decent reception, both on cable and OTA.

It all started about a year ago and I always felt that it was not my system, but the RV Park, Trees or something else. But, when
I Park in a treeless area, with nothing but miles of nothing, and close to a large city and all I get with the OTA is snow,
Now I believe, something is wrong with my system.

I did remove my satellite boxes from the system, about a year ago and was wondering if these cable, now not connected to
Anything might be causing my problem. But, I do have a push button switch that controls the input from Cable or OTA and it
Did work in the past when I had the Satellite system up and running, but it has got progressively worse with time.

I have looked at the menagerie of wire behind the TV and behind a panel above the door and have no idea where to
Start to try and figure out what goes with what.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dave & Jodi

What else is plugged into the tv is it just the hdmi? Try following the cable for the antenna to the switch box seclector. If you can disconnect the cable run it from there to the tv to see if it works. It's possible the box might be bad.
Now for more simple stuff since I don't know your level of expertise. Whenever you go to a new area you have to scan for channels over the air and though the cable service for your tv.

Sincerely

Alex

The only thing or things plugged in is the normal TV cable from somewhere and the one HDMI cable
That I connected so we had something that worked to watch TV at morning and night.

Yep got that scanning down for channels. Ususally make the TV do it 3 or 4 times, I make sure all connections
Are on and tight. Tried new cables, I once even tried 2 different posts at a park where the neighbor said he got
Decent service, no luck.

On my coach, I can get to the side where the normal cable plugs into and my HDMI is plugged into the TV, but that
Cable headers to the other side of the TV (Drivers side) where I have no access to. So it's hard to trace
The cable once it heads in that direction.
While have to look for that switch box you mentioned.

Thanks, Dave
