How to reply

Yahoo Message Number: 114888
At one time I could reply to the person that entered a comment and the reply would not post on this site. Now I can not figure out how to do that?

any help?

Richard,

The only way I know how it works to make a comment to a person is to either forward the email and put that persons email address in or to do a reply and delete the yahoogroups email address and add the persons email address.

Scroll to the bottom of the message an select reply to sender or reply to group.

All I have for options are a blue reply button on the top and a black reply and black delete button on the bottom. Reply to all is not an option on my screen. I use google chrome and that could be a problem. I did try a test by deleting all but my name but it posted to the site. In the past I could reply to just the sender. Something is different with my system because I can not copy and pasts anymore to messages.

I did a test with Ray and it worked.

I don't have a reply or reply all button. Only a reply. If I hit the reply button I can then click on the two "down arrows" next to the Subject line and it will expand the header, There I can delete the group name and just sent to the person that posted the message. I will probably forget this the next time I try it.

You are correct, when using google chrome, the options at the bottom doesn't work. I usually use an iPad and the options at the bottom of the email reply to sender and reply to group works.

How to reply to the individual without replying to the group.
Press Reply
Click on the two down arrows to the left of the Subject to expand the header
On the right is one down arrow - Click on it to expand the reply options
Click the second line which has your email name without the @........
Click Reply
