Bill.....thanks for posting the pix of new Mags and Affinities. CC web site now has 05 Magna list of new features and specs, too.
Having been a fan of the massive tail light assembly of the last ten years or so.....why is it that the rear caps get taller and more imposting while the lights get smaller...even tiny?

I just returned from Perry, George, having driven one of the new Beaver demos back for the dealer (I won't say where as that would give away the dealers name). Anyway, my drive back coach was a 2006 Marquis 42, with 4000 miles and all the bells and whistles (price tag 529,000 +) and I was not impressed with the quality control of this "moderately" priced coach. First, the frame that surrounds the 42" ceiling mounted tv screen fell down on my head. We had to use duct tape to get it stuck back up so I could drive. Across Mississippi, we hit severe weather and torrential rain. Turned on the wipers, only to have them blow off the left side of the drivers winshield and stop. We slowed to turn off the I20 and the blades came back to stowed position. Tried them again the same thing happening. I was in convoy with a 2006 Patriot Thunder 42 and the exact same thing happeded to his wipers. We were never able to use them for the whole trip and because this was a weekend drive over Easter, there weren't very may shops open to take us in. Also, on the Thunder dashboard, the warning light stayed on indicating water in the fuel. My Marquis had a warning light on for the whole trip for the HWH system. Both coaches suffered blowouts on their dash AC units and that oil was found on the rear of the coach. While the warning light is just an annoyance if the jacks were up, I do consider the loss of wiper blades and dash ac important.
I'm sure that this problem isn't found in every new unit and that there are more than enough complaints about new units with other problems but thought I would put in what I thought was a deficit in the quality control of what I used to think as a top of the line coach company. (I owned a 94 Executive for 5 years without that many problems.)
