Extended warranties

Tony. During the first year you don't need an extended warranty, CC should cover every/anything. If you decide to buy one, consider purchasing one just before the factory warranty expires, but while the coach is still within warranty.
In the car business, the rates are based on vehicles within or without factory warranty and they do not specify how much is remaining. Hopefully it will be the same for the RV company you are considering.
Also, the premiums are very much at the descretion of the dealer. As a matter of general rule, dealers will double or even triple the premium cost...ouch!
Shop around and be sure to buy from a dependable source. There have been a large number of failures in the warranty business because many are written as "service contracts" and therefore are not true "insurance" Contracts.
As service contracts, they are not subject to insurance regulations from the State Ins. Dept. and are not examined by auditors, etc. Hence, many are poorly managed and failures abound.
