routing solar panel wires from roof to electric / battery bay

Hi,

I've added ~ 4,000 watts of solar panels to the roof. This covers 50% of the roof.  4,000 watts more to add! 8,000 watts will provide all the power I need for boondocking.  I built some heavy duty sliding brackets, rails etc so that there is a second solar panel mounted under the top one.

Even if my coach had the factory solar panel option (I heard some do) I'm sure the wiring would need to be upgraded.

I want to get that solar power down into the electrical bay where the inverter (EG4 12000xp) is located.

Any tips on routing would be very welcome!

I've taken the roof refrigerator vent off and can easily see down to the area where the bottom of the refrigerator is, but that's about 1 foot above the electrical bay still.

Do I simply gamble and drill down until I get all the way through into the bay below?

Do I have to pull the refrigerator out - assuming there might be an accessible pass-through in that area?

And next will be the fun of identifying the generator and shore line inputs to connect to the inverter.
The fun will never stop, I'm sure.

My rig: 2000 Country Coach Affinity 42 foot, tag axle.
