Toyo and Country Coach

I read with interest all the comments about Toyo tires and Country Coach's commitment to service. Having just purchased our second CC, this time 2004 Magna 6354 (our first was 2001 Affinity 5957) we can testify to being happy owners. Is the coach perfect? regretably not. However, the Toyos are IMHO a very good product. Having been pushed into a temporary barrier by an 18-wheeler, and having bounced off with the front right tire, we are thankful for our big, heavy duty Toyos. Even though we scraped them substantially, we were safe for another 2,000 miles before getting new tires at the 42,000 mark. Not bad, and would have been better had we taken Jan McNeill's advice and weighed our coach early on. The back tires did over 50,000 and still had some left. I have never driven a big truck (and hope never to have to do so) but I can say my CC drives much better than my Suburban and after a visit to Castle Bros in Eugene, I thought I was driving a train. If Michelins or Goodyears handle better, they must really be great!

As for CC's commitment to their coaches, email me if you wonder if they cover things after the warranty expires. Wish they did not need to, but in our case we have have had wonderful, unexpectedly good treatment. Do I have issues? Yes (you should see my punch list for the new Magna!) But if they were perfect, I would have to pray to them.... not to worry, they are NOT perfect. But we are happy with their products and their commitment to the products. We are even (mostly) happy with our dealer (Lazy Days!)
