Repairs at Rally

What type of repairs has anyone had done by the CC folks at a CC rally? I think we're gonna be hard pressed to find something for them to do on our coach! Oh ... I guess that's good news, huh?

If I don't have specific things that need to be done, I usually have some "maintenance-type" items done that might be time consuming but not very difficult. I'll give you the only two recent examples I can think of: (1) on your '98 Intrigue, the type of vent caps that go on your rooftop black and grey tank vents are no longer made and someday you WILL lose one of these vent caps to a tree limb or something else. I had the factory guys replace all three vent caps with the new style, so that the actual caps can be replaced if and when I lose one; (2) it won't be too long till you'll need new tubes for your windshield washers (UV damage) and these are a bear to find in exactly the right size (auto supply stores carry a slightly larger diameter)and are frustrating to install properly. I had these replaced at a recent factory rally. Sorry I can't think of the other things that I have had done over the years that fall in this category.

They will do all most anything that takes one hour, or a little more. I have seen them replace an alternator, check ride height, take a bed room floor out so the Cat people could do a valve lash adjustment, repair a slide leak. You name it they can do it but they usually allow one hour for each coach at the rally unless you have something that needs imediate attention and then they will go longer. Unlike most companys they will also work on your coach when you are not there. A lot of companies have gotten away from going into a coach when no one is there. So far CCI will still do this. CCI will also bring parts on the truck if you order them far enough ahead. This will save you freight and sales tax.

If its under warranty they will fly it in anyway, but don't count on UPS. I have story about trying to get a keyfob. TWI Intrigue 11731 2004

Dick,

I had generator and charging problems at a rally. They sent the crew to my location and checked things out. They determined that I had a bad relay. They replaced the bad relay with a new one that was of much better quality than the original. The techs said I will never have a problem with this relay. No Charge for anything.
