Storage with shore power

Is there any drawback to leaving the coach connected to shore power while it is in storage? I have a Prosine 2000 Inverter/Charger.
Can that just be left on without concern for overcharging? Guess it should not be any different than being used fulltime! Would it be worth $10 per month (on top of a $150 indoor storage bill) while it is in storage for an average of three weeks at a time? Less wear and tear on the batteries and possibly longer life? Batteries are wet cell. Would the answer be any different for AGM batteries?

I do not think there is a drawback to doing so. I have lived in my coach for over a year without disconnecting the shore power. I am now building a garage to store the coach when I am not using it. I plan to have it connected for at least 2 reasons. First, it will keep the batteries charged. Just be sure there is proper amounts of distilled water in the batteries. Second, I want the protection of keeping the tanks warm and prevent freezing damage. This way, I can take a trip without having to dewinterize the coach.
