Towing a Lexus GX470

Are there any CC owners who are towing the Lexus GX470 or any of its variants, and if so, can you tell me the procedures and experiences, particularly if there have been any problems. Thx.

I have been towing a GX 470 since December. Great rig. As you probably know, Lexus and Toyota do not recommend towing. I noticed a number of LX470's and GX470's being towed. I have asked a number of those folks how they towed these rigs. Both models have a transfer case. I put the transfer case in neutral and the transmission in park. You turn off the key, but dont remove it, and away you go. I doubt there would be warranty coverage if there were to be a problem.
Some of the folks I talked to had 60 to 70M miles on thier SUV's and had not experienced a problem. Gary '03 Magna 6251 '04 Lexus GX470
