Splendide 2000 Washer/Dryer

While in the drying cycle, how much air flow comes out of the vent on the side of the coach? My airflow is very minimal, even with a very light load. It hardly pushes on the flap. My vent screen (under the pantry shelf) is clean. Wondering if there is a kink in the vent hose? Before I go digging for that, just want to see if other people are getting better air flow.

Cleaned my water screen (front lower right) the other day for the first time. That was pretty clogged.

Check behind the washer and make sure the drier hose is connected.
My hose was loose on my new rig so that might be your problem. Can also check for kinks then too.

To check air flow in the dryer. Turn on the dry cycle and use a screwdriver to close the switch in the front door latch of course make sure nothing in the way of the drum (ESP hands long hair, beard, ties, etc.) drum and let it run. There is a rubberboot which connects the drum with the front of the washer/ dryer machine if you run your fingers around that on the top around the 12 or o'clock position there slot about the with of your fingers and around 3/8 inch wide this is where the plenum attaches to the dryer, inside the washer/dryer is the plenum which houses the heat elements the fuse which if is blown the plenum will not get hot. On the plenum aft of the heat elements is a motor with a squirrel cage fan, this fan provides the air flow. Also on the plenum are the overheat sensors etc.
When I had the washer dryer apart the rubber hose that connects the back of the drum to the filter assembly was almost plugged with lint restricting the airflow. This rubber hose is a soft ribbed hose I think about 3" maybe 4' long.

One more thing you may want to think about this option. Buy an extra screen from Splendide and instead of changing the back of the dryer, you can have the best of both worlds. Just cut the screen from the filter and keep the screen on the other filter that will keep any critters from comming in to the washer/dryer when your not using it. It also gives you the option to use a filter just in case you want to use it.

Just lost the heating element (assuming it is the heating element) on the Dryer portion of washer/dryer in 2000 Intrigue. Anyone have any luck fixing such a problem, I am assuming that I can call CC or the washer/dryer distributor and get a new heating element. The motor runs and it cycles through but no heat...washer works great.

Thanks for any help with info.

I had the same problem.

With loosing heat there is a fuse inside the washer. Which could be blown.
Call up the Spendide factory rep company which is the 800 number.
I spoke to Ryan and he walked me through the procedure of troubleshooting it.
Briefly what you have to is to but a screwdriver in the door latch to be able to run the dryer cycle with the door opened to see if the fan motor is blowing, if it is blowing and no heat, if could most likely be a fuse. It that is the case, yo will have to pull the unit out, open the top of the washer/dryer and change the overheat fuse.

Let me know how you make out.

What happened with mine was the whole blower motor became unattached from the unit and was floating around for a while and the blower motor failed, it was somewhat of a job but Ryan walked me through it and I did the whole repair myself.
