RV Park Recommendation and warning

I've just stayed at two RV parks on the coast of Washington....one I heartly recommend and the other I provide a warning. The Hoquiam River Park is very nice with large, wide spots, free cable and WIFI internet, all at a reasonable rate. The owners are friendly and helpful.
The Astoria/Warrenton Seaside KOA is one of those that nickel and dimes you for everything. Some examples, sewer $3/night; $2/night if you arrive without a reservation; $5/person to visit you; $3.50/night for each child; $5.00/night for extra adults beyond 2. All fees go up on the weekend. All on top of a pretty hefty original camping fee. Facilities are nice.

Make sure to make your comments at what I've found to be an excellent resource for all of us www.rvparkreviews.com It allows US to rate the parks based on our experience as well as most importantly, offer a short blurb which usually expands on anything we want to mention of note.
I have nothing to do with this site, but always check on it and have found it useful.

Thanks Tony,

I've avoided KOA's for exactly the same reason!

I agreed with Jeff & Lisette & Tony about the KOA campgrounds. I've only stayed at few but it has been my experience that the KOAs are generally more expensive and not necessary any better than the other non-name campgrounds.
