We purchased an 04 Intrigue with the 505 Cat last Spring and love it. It is our 4^th motorhome and second CC. The coach handles great and we love the power and torque of the big Cat. It is so nice to climb mountain passes without having to jostle into position to "make a run at it". A few people have posted that they have had some issues with excessive black exhaust from the 505 but we have not experienced that. I'm not sure what the mileage per gallon is but it doesn't seem to be any worse than what we were getting in our old 95 Magna with a much smaller Cummins. There have been the usual assortment of "buglets" to get worked out, but so far nothing that has hampered our enjoyment of the coach. If you have any specific questions I'd be happy to take a shot at them.
