having just returned from another "shake down" weekend away in our new intigue we say go for it.we have the 42' ovation with the 505 cat. i dont have the black smoke that others have written about.it is such a joy to drive,i drove the 3 plus hours to las vegas, and when i got there it seemed like i had only been driving for an hour, very rested and ready to play.and talk about going up the hills, man does that cat truck. i only wish that someone had told me NOT to use the bathroom sink with the slide in,{the towels are still drying}lol... i hope i have been some help, feel free to contact me if you have anymore questions.

Sorry for the late response but I am a new member to the group with a 42' Ovation with the 505 (coach 11719) and have been purusing old items. Can you tell me why one should not use the bathroom sink (any specific sink - vanity or commode?) when the slides are in? To my knowledge, we have not had any problems?

Jim,

Our coach was built after yours in July of last year. We were "lucky" to be one of the early owners of the new 525 with it's teething issues. We have no issues using either the galley or bathroom sinks in the slides when pulled in. My last coach was an American Coach and we routinely use the sink with the slides in.
Seems that scott and deb have a service need.
