Stan,
I may have a similar situation. Sometime ago, I noticed a small amount of water that appeared to be coming out from under the Hurricane furnace. Since it was clear and the reservoir did not need to be topped off or refilled I have to assume that it did not occur as a result of an overflow of the reservoir. I have not been able to locate the origin of the leak. At its worst I have a film of water in the heating bay at its best there is a very slow drip that is noticeable under the coach where it exits by the exhaust pipe of the heater. I've got an appointment at LazyDays in a few weeks and I'm hoping that they will be able to diagnose the problem if I haven't by then. Several days ago I had the city water turned off so that I could install a new winterized water pipe. I had the city water turned off for the weekend and for two days we were working off the fresh water tank. The water leak went away while I was not connected to city water. I reconnected the city water and I watched for the leak to start again. Unfortunately I was not to be disappointed. It took about a half an hour but the drip did reappear under the exhaust pipe. Now I think that I might have a high water pressure problem. I've never had a water pressure regulator one on because I was afraid that I would get a reduced volume of water for my showers. How I love a good strong shower. I've rearranged my priorities about a strong shower and resigned myself to follow the sage advice others have posted about the importance of using a water pressure regulator. When I get it installed this week end I'll post what the outcome is. If it does not solve the leak problem, I'll let you know what I find out when LazyDays attempts to fix it. I hope you have better luck than I?ve had in finding the source of the leak.
