There has been some correspondence about the Sharp LCD's and some problems mentioned.

I'm just finishing the installation of a 37" in my Intrigue. This particular TV has a DVI port which I cabled to my laptop VGA to DVI cable. I bought the cables from Cables To Go on the web.
The TV becomes the monitor and as you can see, produces an excellent result.
It appears the key in purchasing the TV is to be sure it has the DVI port.
The 24" LCD I removed did not have one. I tried to cable it via RGB cables to my laptop and the picture was terrible.
I'll post the finished project on this board in a couple of weeks when Trial and Error and I are finished with it. So for so good.
