Home from Alaska

Sue and I just returned to ND from our trip to Alaska. It was a wonderful trip. Do it. The road were rough and dirty in some areas but the sights were truly outstanding. We traveled up 37 and made the circut clockwise. The CC didnot have a problem. Well one of the basement doors fell off when we opened it, the backer blocks had broken. Four new screws and we were on the way. Saw lots of animals and mountains. Took the ferry from Valdez to Seward which was excellent. Now we are headed for our boat in Duluth and since it has not sold will run it down to FL. At 50 miles/day it will take a couple of months. Will travel the waterway down the Ill., Miss., Tenn. River system. If you see "Northern Light" give us a honk or come and see us. The coffe pot will be on.

Caught your note relative to Duluth and running a boat to FL. My partner and wife are not motorhomers, but they are boaters! They have been active in Duluth Power Squadron and are partners in Sand Point marina. They live just across aerial bridge on bay side of Lake Ave. We used to own Gold Cross ambulance. Maybe you know them (Harvey & Candy Hengel)... anyway, they also took a boat down to FL, but via New York and Intercoastals! Maybe you can contact them for info about trip... and maybe you even know them... Their email is HarCan1ch@ aol.com... (HarCan is name of the their boat).
We have a 01 Intrique and live in Rochester MN. In fact we saw Harvey & Candy yesterday in Hinckley at the Classie Cruisers weekend.. had about 20 coaches there... You missed a good one! John Gowan outdid himself on Thursday night with cooking catfish dinner.
