Air Tanks

I have a 1990 CC Sedona and I was wondering if anybody can tell me what type of cannister I have? I was told that it was one of the most neglected item's on a motorhome. Any info on the older CC's would be great!

Hi Ken,

Welcome to the group.

I own a 1987 LTD 40ft 3208 CAT . This coach was in a fire a couple of years ago and has been sitting around until the insurance company got ready to sell it. I am rebuilding it now. The outside is in good shape and the motor and transmission work great too.
It is a fun project and I have learned a few things about how these things are built also.
I have an older Georgie Boy coach which I have been using.. It has been very good to me but I think it is time to sell it. It has a chevy 6.2 diesel with a turbo 400 transmission. I have had thousands of trouble free miles with it and hope to have the same on the CC.
I am not to worried about the bells and whistles on the CC as they can go out and can be replaced with updated items. But it makes me wonder about some of other things in the CC that make it go. My neighbor has told they had a exhaust break put on. The mechanic routed a plastic air hose to close to the exhaust and it melted letting air out. They found if they don't have air their breaks come on and their gas pedal quits being functional. They told me they had to hurry and get off to the side before they were stranded. If it was towed 10 feet the transmission would go out. These things make me realize I better find out a little more about the systems and what problems others have. This is one of the reasons why I joined the group.
Most of the message seem to be about newer coaches. It may seem at times like they are whinning about their coaches but they pay allot for them and they expect allot. That is one of the reasons I bought mine.
There is some older coach owners on here too but you don't here from them to much as their coaches run perfect. This is do to the previous coach owners whinning ;-)

Take care and enjoy.
