Chrome Dash Fans

When parked with shore power to the coach, do the 8" chrome dash fans (attached to the overhead)run off of the chassis batteries or off of the house batteries?

Thanks for your response. That brings up my corrollary question.
If I run both fans on low speed continuously, will it run down the chassis battery or will the incoming shore power via the Echo Charger replace as much juice as they are using?

I don't think the fans use may amps, but not sure. The echo charger should be able to keep up, one of Fred's posts today said the echo has a max charge of about 15 amps. Just curious why you need the fans running while parked?

Thanks again. I, too, have always assumed that the Echo Charger would keep up with the fans use, but don't know that for a fact. I guess when I had the '99 Allure with the Link 2000 monitor I should have run more extensive experiments to confirm this.

The main reason that I run the dash fans while parked is to keep condensation and ice off the windshield during extremely cold temperatures. I'm now in Colorado Springs where it's not too bad, but last week was in Santa Fe, where the temperature was close to zero and the wind chills a couple of nights were -17 and -18.
