Search Archives doesn't work

Yahoo Message Number: 13848
On many of the yahoo group sites one can type in a subject in the "Search Archives" and the search will return numerous messages.
However, for some reason Country-Coach group doesn't do that. Is it purposely set up that way or do we have a malfunction?

For example if I am seeking past messages on PAC brakes, it returns nothing and I know that it should return many going back two years or more. Is it possible the search archives switch has been turned off on our group?

It would be a great help when researching issues to be able to use this function if it could be turned on.

It's apparently case sensitive. Try typing "Pac brake" in the block, instead of "PAC brake." (without the quote marks)

I was just told that "winter camping" was well covered recently in the group and should use the search mode.
I did and found that it functions, but rather strangely.
Type in your search (in your case I tried pac brake) and hit enter. It will return results for a quantified amount of pages. Keep hitting the next button and additional results will come up. Keep hitting the "next" button even when there appears to be no results. Watch the message numbers continue "backward".
FYI, there were quite a few messages for "pac brake".

You hit it, once I changed the case to mixed upper and lower then it found it and then I also continued hitting NEXT and it found additional ones. I found that you can also type in the ID name and it will find the messages written by a particular user, that is nice because certain users seem to also have nothing but kudos for Country Coach while others actually identify problems and help in finding solutions to known problems.
