We are staying in Palm Creek for the winter for the second year in a row. I reccomend it highly. An outstanding RV and Park Model facility. Go to their web site (palmcreekgolf.com) and see for yourself. We've been full-timing for the last 2 years and it is the best RV park we've ever stayed in. More activities than you can imagine including a first class wood working shop. Terry Pierson 2004 Allure

We are finally going to make the trek to CA this summer, most likely from our FL base (Polk City). This seems like a good stopover. Can you stay for two nights or so, or just by the month ???

You can stop over for a couple of days if they have room but you can only make reservations for month or longer stay.

I believe that is the park is stayed a couple of nights in a year ago. Nice park, but my wife wasn't very pleased when they wanted to put us in the pet section with the DOGs because we had a kitten that never leaves the coach. To them, "A cat is a pet and you must be in the pet section, even if it doesn't leave the coach". Wonder about a bird or goldfish .

I like to check out the average weather in the area for the month I visit. Yahoo Weather reports historical daily averages by either month or day. Don't know which summer month you plan to travel, but the AVERAGE daily high for June July and August is over 103 degrees - - at least I hear that it is dry heat.
