Stains on outside edges of carpet in the bedroom.

Have any of you had the experience of "dirty looking" outside edges of the carpet in the bedroom (below the window wall)?
The carpet has been cleaned and yet this area looks dirty. I can't imagine that something from the engine could be causing it but am at a loss to figure out the cause of it! Certainly no one can walk where it is showing the soil "line."

Stange isn't it?

I had stains on edges of carpeting in living/dining area which were caused by sticky carpet covering used to protect the carpeting prior to sale. They eventually came up with elbow grease and carpet cleaning...see if it feels sticky to you. Buzz

There is a pretty good chance that this stain is caused by black dust from the diesel engine. We had the same staining in our coach and it was also on the headliner and in the drawers in the bedroom. This is caused by an improperly installed or failed seal between the engine compartment and the interior of your coach. Unfortantly, this seems to be a fairly common occurance in Country Coaches. Call Country Coach and ask them about it. They will usually fix this under warranty for you even if your coach is out of warranty.
