Need plumbing help

Yahoo Message Number: 14539
I have plugged up the drain in the bathroom. The pipes come straight down from the sink to a 90 degree bend into another straight, horizontal piece of pipe about 15" long before another bend into what I hope is a straight pipe to the gray tank..

What tools do I need to remove the pipe under the sink to clean it out?

Hi Carol

My wife unplugged ours. She put white vinegar and baking soda (1 cup soda followed by 1 cup vinegar) in the drain and left it overnight then poured several teakettles of boiling water down the next day.
Works goooood now!

The truth about our gas prices.

Why are we low on oil? Simple - we forgot to check it.
Our oil is in Alaska, Oklahoma and Texas.
OUR DIPSTICKS ARE IN WASHINGTON.

Before yo go too far try popping up the stopper or the drain cover (if in the shower). Usually this is just hair that collects right at the drain.

Thanks, Andy, tried that and it didn't work for me. 8-( Also tried some commercial stuff that says it it ok for RVs...probably the reason it is ok is because it doesn't work. So, the only thing I can think of is to take the (expletive deleted) thing apart!
I think I'll try the vinegar and soda one more time...maybe I didn't use enough.

Thanks, Dave...its in the sink - sorry I didn't say that in the original post. I've taken it apart as much as I can and even stuck a straw down there to see if I could loosen the stuff up...no luck.
I am assuming it is hair because I don't recall dropping anything into the sink.

Thanks again

Carol

I have had to remove the stopper a couple of times--full of hair. I recently got a long skinny brush that I can stick down to try and pull out the hair rather than removing the stopper. Don't know yet if it will work or not.

Ace Hardware carries a drain cleaner...a piece of flexible plastic about 2 feet long and 2 inches wide with sharp teeth cut in both edges. You thread it down the drain, under the stopper if you like, and pull it back loaded with dreadful stuff. I don't remember the name and have not had to use it in the coach, but it worked on a sink at home.
