Try looking at the equipment list on the back of the bathroom mirror. They should be in the upper right hand corner if my memory serves me right.

The paint codes are listed in your owner literature. Also try the door in the bathrrom medicine cabine - lots of info there.
Hmm, you're one number before us - probably your coach was originally sold at the March 2004 FMCA Albuqueque show. First 5 2005 Inspires built were show coaches for that rally.

If you have both binders and the box they are in there somewhere - try looking for a cardboard document - that's what my info is on. As I recall there is an alphabetic list of the documents, paint code was on that.

Paint is mf'd by Sikkens.

A Key Deer ran into side of my 07 Allure on Big Pine Key and I took it to Buddy Gregg ( before buddy Passed) and they matched paint without any trouble. This was after CC went under. I was thinking my paint codes were Sherwood williams. Not sure, matter of fact can't remember what I had for breakfast.

CC themselves could not supply me the paint codes 4 years ago when I contacted them. Why would Specialty Logistics be able to when CC could not. They gave me numbers but they are not Sikkens paint codes.

Hello all

I have had touch up paint made at a NAPA auto parts store, find one that has a paint department and has a paint spectrometer, and take a part with the paint color you want,( refer panel, fuel filler door, heater compartment door) I have had good success in touching up small areas with this method .I even had them put the major color I needed into a spray can. You cannot match the color perfect , so its only good for small areas because the paint process used by CC is a cut and buff method with the clear coat mixed with the paint and sprayed all at one time. With the paint I used from Napa I also used a clear coat afterward. It gave the effect I wanted.

Hope somebody can help us with paint codes too!! We are new to the club just bought this coach, 2003 32ft Intrigue. We looked everywhere no card with codes on it, not in the bath cabinet. nothing!!Here are some pictures if anybody has any codes that could help us out.

Post the numbers that you have. I'll do some research and see what I can come up with.
I'm a senior chemist for Akzo Nobel. Sikkens is the automotive refinish group of Akzo.
If their not Sikkens numbers, I still might be able to get you some info on where they come from.

I won't put you through this again. A couple of years ago you made the same offer to me when I could not find any information on the numbers that were both on my paint bottles and the top cover of the file box.
You were not able to identify any of the numbers as Sikkens paint codes and I know that you tried. With your knowledge of the subject I gave up. Matching remains a hit or miss proposition.

Years ago there was small company in the northeast that would do custom color matches, I don't remember the name, Possibly someone in the group would remember.
I can match the colors, a real pain in the butt. I'd need a sample of some sort that I can read on the color spectrophotomer. A lot of the topcoats were metallic, some even pearlescent pigments. The minimum size would be one inch by one inch.

My Son-inlaw is a certified

Lexus painter here in Oklahoma (in fact the only one) and he has a Color Eye Camera that will give paint codes for three and four stage paint jobs, including pearls. If you checked your higher end paint shops out they may have a similar camera that they can bring to your Coach. He has used this camera for me and it does a great job.

I went through the paint number confusion a couple of years ago. After a discussion with the CC paint supervisor and the Sikkens rep I found out that the CC paint numbers came out of a CC book with a unique CC code system. Working with the supervisor and rep I was able to get the automotive reference numbers for my particular colors. BOB 06Intrigue 12047

? Bingo, It took me some time to find out that my so called paint codes are actually book and page numbers in a book that CC used in selecting colors for coaches. However when I talked again to CC tech support they played dumb about knowing how to get access to the book or even what to ask for. You had a better experience as CC made no offer for me to discuss it with their paint supervisor.
It was Steve on this group that figured out that the codes must be book and page numbers but now I know why he could not get any further. The book was unique to CC.
Now I agree that Specialty Logistics may be able to help if they ended up with a book. or whoever else may have one. Each time I get involved with the issue I get a little closer to the real solution, that being paint code numbers that I can take to Sikkens. I appreciate the other solutions that everyone has offered and I likely will end up using one of them someday. I do not have a paint matching problem other than touchup bottles. I mentioned my situation for those that might run into trouble using the numbers on the bottle or on the cover of the box of manuals. CC was not consistent with it and now I have found at least one other owner with the same problem.

While paint codes are handy a well equipped paint shop today has an infra red gun that they can point at the vehicle paint and it will give them the necessary paint code mix. Their computer mixer will match the paint perfectly. Some shops prefer this method over using factory paint codes as if used correctly it can be more accurate.
