Can anyone tell us (1) the best RV parks, closest to Branson, MO, (2) How is highway 70 going west through Denver? (3) the best to see and do, and good RV parks in New Orleans?

Thanks!
Stan

Stan: We went to Branson last year. We stayed at Acorn Acres, but it was about five miles out of town. A friend we were traveling with stayed at the KOA by the river. It was much closer to town. If you specify sites down by the river, they seem to accommodate larger rigs. It's a nice KOA.
Be sure to see the Jim Stafford show. I think it was the best! I didn't like the Oriental Violinist that everyone raves about, but that was just my opinion. He was way over the top with his own ego and has a terrible singing voice. Apparently I am in the minority with that opinion because he packs them in for every show. Good luck.

Stan, 70 through Denver should be no problem, went that way last year and it was very smooth running. Branson, don't really know but there are a lot of parks all the way from the top rating on down, check out Woodalls.com. New Orleans, Man there is so much to do and see. Garden District, French Quarter, Museums, Jackson Square and much more. We stayed at Bayou Segnette state park on the west side of the river.
Very nice and only about 30 minutes from the French Quarter.
Sorry Stan, I don't have the phone # or the link but will send it to you later today.

Have fun,

Egon

Hi Stan,

The best RV park is run by the City of Branson south from the old town area and on the river. Very reasonable. Walk to the old Branson and eat the good Ozark cooking.

Stan, here it the link to the state park, only decent place to stay right now, however they are building a new upscale park close to the French Quarter, pricy at 80 bucks a night for a pull through. It is supposed to be ready in the summer. Next time that I go back I will still go back to the state park.

Again, Have fun and enjoy New Orleans.

It looks like you need at least one more opinion on the "Best RV park in Branson"

We just left Branson, and stayed at America's Best RV park (ABC RV park) and it was very nice. The thing I liked best, it was easy to get to in an RV. Some of the RV parks looked very difficult to get to in the hilly country.

Just my opinion and I am sticking to it.
